Textile Industry
Providing fluid handling equipment and services to the
textile industry has been a focus of Kadant Johnson for more than 65
years. We offer rotary joints and syphon systems for both natural and
synthetic fiber producers along with our Liqui-Mover condensate
handling system.
Rotary Joints
The performance of a specific type and size of rotary
joint varies with changes in operating speed, pressure, media, and
temperature. Kadant Johnson's breadth of line is an important benefit
to rotary joint users in the textile industry. Since Kadant Johnson
joints are available in many configurations, constructions, and
options, we can provide you with the exact rotary joint your
application requires.
Syphon Systems
Kadant Johnson offers both stationary and rotary syphons
(distribution pipe) as an intergral part of the rotary joint fluid
handling system.
Vacuum Breakers
Kadant Johnson vacuum
breakers provide a simple, dependable way to relieve unwanted
vacuum that may develop in a closed vessel or pipeline. Vacuum breakers
can be used to prevent contamination from back siphonage in fluid
handling systems, and to protect equipment against collapse or
implosion.
Flexible Hose
Kadant Johnson flexible
hoses have been specifically engineered for use as inlet and outlet
connections to Kadant Johnson rotary joints. Flexible hose prevents
pipe strains from creating tension or stress on the rotary joint, and
allows the joint to move as needed to compensate for seal wear.
Sight Flow Indicators
Kadant Johnson sight
flow indicators are engineered to provide visual observation of
liquid and gas flows. These pipeline indicators are available with
ductile iron or bronze bodies in sizes from 3/8" to 4" with threaded or
flanged connections.
Separators for Air & Steam
To improve the operating efficiency of pneumatic
equipment, Kadant Johnson air separators
eliminate 99% of entrained contaminants including moisture, pipe scale,
dirt and oil. When used on steam service, Kadant Johnson separators
provide cleaner, drier steam to heat exchangers, steam turbines and
other processing equipment that requires clean dry steam.
